Fill a tall glass about 1/3 of the way with ice. Add a healthy shot of some good tequila; I’m currently drinking Toro Artesenal Añejo. Juice half of a lime into the glass. Top with Squirt or other grapefruit soda. Mix and optionally throw in a pinch of salt.
Even though I’m not a big tequila fan, this drink gets high marks. As always, the key is good tequila and fresh, juicy limes.

Holy liquid love in a mug, Batman! This stuff is smoooth. Smooth like a baby’s bottom, like deep black velvet, like that inside curve of a woman’s neck. S-m-triple-oh-t-h smooth. I quaffed a pint at the local Yard House (”130 beers on tap, not all crap!”) and now have a new object of fantasy. No, I’m not telling what the last object was.
Yum yum get you sum.
The first thing that hit me about the St. Peter’s line of beers is the gorgeous bottle. It’s an old-time oval flask that just screams, “I have a delicious liquid within my walls.” Whaddya know, the bottles didn’t lie.
The porter was a full-bodied, intense mix of hops and coffee malts. The cream stout wasn’t the creamiest stout I’ve had, but it had plenty of sweet chocolate undertones. It was imminently drinkable, where the boldness of the porter made it a little more of a winter-y beer. Both of these were $3.99 per pint at the local well-stocked liquor store, and well worth it.
I’m not very good at describing beers, so I’ll just say: find the St. Peter’s beers and give them a taste for yourself. You will NOT be disappointed.
