I really enjoyed this movie for a few reasons.

1) It was nice to watch a show where most everyone is polite, including competitors.

2) I like golf and the concept of being one with the game.

3) It was nice to give Will Smith a chance to redeem his movie-role-choosing-ability after watching him in I Am Legend. This was a good role for him and he pulled it off really well.
